Shutter speed guidelines
Note that on screen only the
denominator isdisplayed - [_il_ 250]
indicates a shutter speed of 1/250
second, etc.

In mode, when the frame rate is
set to [F2-_l 24F PROGR.], the shutter
speeds available will be the following: 1/6,
1/12, 1/24, 1/48, 1/60, 1/100, 1/250, 1/500,
1/1000 and 1/2000.
Available Aperture Values
[1.8]**, [2.0]**, [2.4]**, [2.8], [3.4], [4.0],
[4.8], [5.6], [6.7], [8.0]

_ NOTES
When setting a numeric value (aperture
or shutter speed), the number display
will flash if the aperture or shutter speed
is not appropriate for the recording
conditions. In such case select a
different value.
Do not move the mode switch to AUTO
during the actual recording of a scene;
the brightness of the picture may
change abruptly.
[_ SHUqq-ER-PRIO.AE]
- If you use a slow shutter speed indark
places, you can obtain a brighter
image, but the image quality may be
lower, and the autofocus may not work
well.
- The image may flicker when recording
with high shutter speeds.
- Recordingmoviesunderfluorescentlights:
If the screen starts to flicker, select
[_il_ SHUTTER-PRIO.AE] and set the
shutter speed to 1/100.
[_ APERTURE-PRIO.AE]
The actual range of values available for
selection will vary depending on the
initial zoom position.
MiniVideoLight
You can turn on the mini video light
(assist lamp) at any time, regardless of
the recording program.
