Using
the
tab,
pull
the
CD-ROM
or
DVD-ROM
drive
partially
out
of
the
server;
then,
grasp
the
drive
and
remove
it
from
the
server.

options

install
or
remove,
do
so

connect
the
external
devices
and
power
cords
and
turn
on
the
server.
Installing
memory
The
following
notes
describe
the
types
of
dual
inline
memory
modules
(DIMMs)
that
your
server
supports
and
other
information
that
you
must
consider
when
installing
DIMMs:

Your
server
supports
512
MB,
1
GB,
and
2
GB
DIMMs,
for
a
maximum
of
40
GB
of
system
memory.
Your
server
supports
up
to
twenty-eight
2.5
V,
184
pin,
PC2100,
ECC
DDR
SDRAM,
133
MHZ
DIMMs.

a
list
of
memory
modules
you
can
use
with
your
server.

Your
server
supports
a
maximum
of
only
20
DIMMs
(10
per
port)
if
any
connector
contains
a
2
GB
DIMM.
Your
server
supports
a
maximum
of
28
DIMMs
(14
per
port)
if
only
512
MB
and
1
GB
DIMMs
are
installed.
v
Your
server
comes
with
a
minimum
of
two
512
MB
DIMMs,
installed
in
slots
1
and
14.
When
installing
additional
DIMMs,
you
must
install
two
DIMMS
at
a
time,
in
the
order
shown
in
the
following
table
to
maintain
performance.
