Note:
Logging
to
a
file
requires
a
writeable
file
system
to
be
available
from
the
EFI
environment.
Exit
the
AMIDiag
program.
Press
Esc,
and
select
Yes
at
the
prompt.
Running
the
AMIDiag
program
in
Batch
Mode
When
your
server
is
experiencing
an
intermittent
problem
that
no
diagnostic
software
test
has
been
able
to
identify,
run
AMIDiag
tests
over
an
extended
period
of
time.
Many
server
problems
(especially
memory
problems)
are
not
evident
when
a
test
is
run
only
once.
You
can
use
the
AMIDiag
program
to
run
diagnostic
tests
on
only
a
certain
part
of
the
server,
a
specific
part
of
memory,
or
a
specific
part
of
a
disk
drive.
You
can
also
use
the
AMIDiag
program
to
build
script
(.INI)
files
that
contain
test
configuration
information.
After
you
have
created
an
AMIDiag
script
file,
you
can
run
the
diagnostic
tests
listed
in
the
.INI
file
automatically.
To
run
the
AMIDiag
program
in
batch
mode,
complete
the
following
steps:
1.
Select
the
AMIDiag
tests
to
be
run.
2.
Select
the
test
parameters,
such
as
the
drives
and
the
I/O
ports.
These
parameters
differ
for
each
test.
3.
Press
F10
to
run
the
tests.
4.
Save
the
current
AMIDiag
test
configuration
to
a
.INI
file.
You
can
then
run
this
set
of
AMIDiag
tests
at
any
time.
