Items for both CAMERA and VTR
modes
LANGUAGE* <ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL/ >
Select the language of information display.
COMMANDER <ON/OFF>
•Select ON when using the supplied Remote
Commander for the camcorder.
•Select OFF when not using the Remote
Commander.
COUNTER* <NORMAL/TIME CODE>
•Normally select NORMAL.
•Select TIME CODE to display the RC time code
in order to edit more precisely.
REC MODE* <SP/LP>
•Select SP when recording in SP (standard play)
mode.
•Select LP when recording in LP (long play)
mode.
LCD B. L.* <BRT NORMAL/BRIGHT>
•Normally select BRT NORMAL.
•Select BRIGHT when the LCD screen is dark.
When you select BRIGHT, battery life is about 10
percent shorter during recording.
When you use the power sources other than the
battery pack, BRIGHT is automatically selected,
and LCD B. L. is not displayed in the menu.
LCD COLOR*
Select this item to adjust the color on the LCD
screen.
LCD HUE*
Select this item to adjust the hue on the LCD
screen.
BEEP* <ON/OFF>
•Select ON so that beeps sound when you start/
stop recording, etc.
•Select OFF when you do not want to hear the
beep sound.

telemando suministrado para controlar la
videocámara.
•Seleccione OFF cuando no vaya a utilizar el
telemando.
COUNTER* <NORMAL/TIME CODE>
•Normalmente seleccione NORMAL.
•Seleccione TIME CODE para utilizar el código
de tiempo RC para editar con mayor precisión.
REC MODE* <SP/LP>
•Seleccione SP para grabar en el modo SP
(reproducción estándar).
•Seleccione LP para grabar en el modo LP
(reproducción larga).
LCD B. L.* <BRT NORMAL/BRIGHT>
•Normalmente seleccione BRT NORMAL.
•Seleccione BRIGHT cuando la pantalla de
cristal líquido esté oscura.
La duración de la batería será aproximadamente
un 10% más larga que cuando haya seleccionado
BRIGHT.
Cuando utilice fuentes de alimentación que no
sean la batería, se seleccionará automáticamente
BRIGHT, y en el menú no se visualizará LCD
B. L.
LCD COLOR*
Seleccione este ítem para ajustar el color de la
