Changing the mode settings
TBC* <ON/OFF>
•Normally select ON, to correct for jitter.
•Select OFF to not correct for jitter. The picture
may not be steady when played back.
Note on TBC setting
Set TBC to OFF when:
•Playing back a tape you have dubbed over.
•Playing back a tape on which you recorded
the signal of a TV game or similar machine.
•The playback picture fluctuates.
DNR* <ON/OFF>
•Normally select ON to reduce picture noise.
•Select OFF if the picture has a lot of movement,
causing a conspicuous afterimage.
The following settings work only during
playback
EDIT, HiFi SOUND, TBC, and DNR.
* These settings are retained even when the
battery is removed, as long as the lithium
battery is in place.
Selecting the display language
(1) Press MENU to display the menu.
(2) Turn the control dial to select LANGUAGE,
then press the dial.
(3) Turn the control dial to select the desired
language, then press the dial.
(4) Press MENU to erase the menu display.
All the indications are displayed in the language
you selected.
TBC* <ON/OFF>
•Normalmente seleccione ON para corregir
fluctuaciones.
•Si no desea corregir las fluctuaciones, seleccione
OFF. Las imágenes reproducidas pueden no
ser estables.
Nota sobre el ajuste de TBC
Ponga TBC en OFF cuando reproduzca:
•Una cinta duplicada.
•Una cinta en la que haya grabado la señal de
un juego de vídeo o de otra máquina similar.
•Una cinta en la que las imágenes de
reproducción fluctúen.
DNR* <ON/OFF>
•Normalmente seleccione ON para reducir el
ruido de las imágenes.
•Seleccione OFF si las imágenes tienen mucho
movimiento y causan imagen residual notable.
Durante la reproducción solamente trabajarán
los ajustes siguientes:
EDIT, HiFi SOUND, TBC, y DNR.
* Estos ajustes se conservarán incluso aunque
quite la batería, mientras la pila de litio esté en
su lugar.
Selección del idioma de
visualización
(1) Presione MENU para hacer que se visualice el
menú.
(2) Gire el dial de control para seleccionar
LANGUAGE, y después vuelva a presionar el
dial.
(3) Gire el dial de control para seleccionar el
idioma deseado, y después vuelva a presionar
el dial.
(4) Presione MENU para borrar la visualización
del menú.
Todas las indicaciones se visualizarán en el
idioma seleccionado.
