The life of the battery pack
If the battery indicator flashes rapidly just after
turning on the camcorder with a fully charged
battery pack, the battery pack should be replaced
with a new fully charged one.
Charging temperature
You should charge batteries at temperatures
from 10°C to 30°C (from 50°F to 86°F). Lower
temperatures require a longer charging time.

What is “InfoLITHIUM”
The “InfoLITHIUM” is a lithium ion battery pack
which can exchange data with compatible video
equipment about its battery consumption. Sony
recommends that you use the “InfoLITHIUM”
battery pack with video equipment having the
mark.
When you use this battery pack with video
equipment having the mark, the video
equipment will indicate the remaining battery
time in minutes*. However, if you use it with
video equipment not having this mark, the
remaining battery capacity will not be indicated
in minutes.
* The indication may not be accurate depending
on the condition and environment which the
equipment is used under.
How the battery consumption is displayed
The power consumption of the camcorder
changes depending on its use, such as how the
autofocusing is working.
While checking the condition of the camcorder,
the “InfoLITHIUM” battery pack measures the
battery consumption and calculates the
remaining battery power. If the condition
changed drastically, the remaining battery
indication may suddenly decrease or increase by
more than 2 minutes.
Even if 5 to 10 minutes is indicated as the battery
remaining time on the LCD screen or in the
viewfinder, the i indicator may also flash under
some condition.

La batería InfoLITHIUM es una batería de iones

equipos de vídeo compatibles sobre su consumo
de energía. Sony recomienda utilizar la batería
InfoLITHIUM con equipos de vídeo que posean
la marca .
Cuando utilice esta batería con un equipo de
vídeo que posea la marca , el equipo de
vídeo indicará la duración restante de la batería
en minutos*. Sin embargo, si la utiliza con un
equipo que no posea esta marca, la capacidad
restante de la batería no se indicará en minutos.
* La indicación puede no ser precisa
dependiendo de las condiciones y el medio
ambiente de utilización del equipo.
Forma de visualización del consumo de la
batería
El consumo de energía de la videocámara
cambiará dependiendo de su utilización, por
ejemplo, cómo está trabajando el enfoque
automático.
Durante la comprobación de la condición de la
videocámara, la batería “InfoLITHIUM” mide el
consumo de la batería y calcula la energía
restante. Si la condición cambia bruscamente, la
indicación de tiempo restante de la batería puede
reducirse o aumentar repentinamente más de 2
minutos.
Aunque el tiempo restante de la batería indicado
en la pantalla de cristal líquido o en el visor sea
de 5 a 10 minutos, es posible que el indicador i
parpadee en ciertas condiciones.
