Erasing a Folder/Title/
File (Erase)
1 Press TITLE LIST.
2 Select the folder/title/file you want to
erase using M/m.
To erase multiple folders/titles/files,
press the green button (“Select”).
3 Press OPTIONS to select “Erase,”
and press .
The display asks for confirmation.
4 Select “Yes,” and press .
The selected folder/title/file is erased.

• If you erase a folder in the “Title list,” the titles/
files in the folder are all erased even if they are
not displayed.
• Folders/titles/files cannot be erased during
playback of titles (including Radio titles) or
photo/music/video (data) files.
Labelling a Folder/Title/
File (Rename)
1 Press TITLE LIST.
2 Select the folder/title/file you want to
rename using M/m.
3 Press OPTIONS to select “Edit” and
then “Rename,” and press .

C Switches the character types.
4 Press </M/m/, to select a
character, and press .
The selected character appears in the
input row.
• To switch the characters, press
repeatedly.
• To erase a character, press the red
button (“Erase”).
5 Press M to move the highlight to the
input row, and press .
The new name is displayed in the “Title
list.”
• To cancel the setting, press RETURN.
