Using the Setup Menu
Instant Review
This setting allows you to specify the length of time an
image, panoramic sequence, or video clip is displayed in
Instant Review.
Instant Review displays the still image or video clip right
after you have taken it. If you want to delete the image or
video clip, press , then select an option from the Delete sub-
menu. The options available depend on certain camera
settings. For example, if you have taken a panoramic
sequence, the options include saving the panoramic
sequence as a stitched image (see page 53).
The default Instant Review setting is 2 seconds. Longer
settings give you more time to review an image, while Off
causes the camera to revert to Live View immediately after an
image is taken. You can exit Instant Review by pressing the
Shutter button halfway down.
1. In the Setup Menu (see
page 113), select Instant
Review.
2. Use the buttons to highlight
a setting.
3. Press to save the setting and
return to the Setup Menu.
The new setting remains in effect until it is changed again,
even when you turn the camera off.
