Troubleshooting and Support
My image is
grainy.
The camera
was too warm
when the
picture was
taken, resulting
in images with
more noise
(graininess).
Use Image Advice (see
page 92).
The effect will diminish as the
camera cools. For best image
quality, avoid storing the
camera in very hot locations.
The ISO Speed
setting was too
high.
Use a lower ISO Speed setting
(see page 76).
The image or
video clip
compression
setting was too
high.
Use a lower Image Quality or
Video Quality compression setting
(see pages 68 and 70).
There was not
enough light.
Wait for natural lighting
conditions to improve.
Add indirect lighting.
Use the flash (see
page 47).
Images are
missing on
my camera.
You installed a
memory card
after taking
one or more
images so
images in
internal
memory are
not visible.
Remove the memory card.
Move the images from the
internal memory to the
memory card (see page 123).
