Troubleshooting and Support
Battery is non-
rechargeable or
fully charged
There is no
battery in the
camera, the
battery is not
rechargeable, or
the battery is
fully-charged.
If the battery is a
disposable battery,
replace it with a
rechargeable Lithium
Ion battery.
If the battery is a
Lithium Ion battery, it is
fully charged and you
can begin using the
camera.
PROCESSING... The camera is
processing data,
such as saving
the last picture
you took.
Wait a few seconds for the
camera to finish
processing before taking
another picture or pressing
another button.
CHARGING
FLASH...
The camera is
recharging the
flash.
It takes longer to charge
the flash when the battery
is low. If you see this
message frequently, you
may need to replace or
recharge the battery.
FOCUS TOO FAR
and blinking
The focus
distance is
beyond where
the camera can
focus in the
Macro focus
range.
Select a focus range
other than Macro
(see page 42).
Move closer to the
subject, within Macro
focus range (see
page 42).
