Error Messages on the Camera

BATTERY
DEPLETED.
Battery power is
too low to
continue
operation.
Replace or recharge the
battery, or use the HP AC
power adapter.

take a picture

Buy a new battery.
Battery cannot be
charged

power disruption

charging, you

Retry charging the battery
a couple of times. If that
fails, buy a new battery

Battery is shorted
or severely
overdischarged.

Battery is non-
rechargeable
There is no
battery in the
camera, or the
battery is not
rechargeable.
Verify that there is a
rechargeable battery in
the camera, then retry
