Deleting files
Select how to delete
files:
- Delete Single
- Delete Multi
- Delete All
1.
Select [SINGLE], [MULTI] or [ALL] by pressing and press
[MENU/SET].
2. - [SINGLE] mode deletes the current picture or motion picture.
- In [MULTI] mode select pictures or motion pictures by pressing
and mark them by pressing [DISPLAY]. Selected pictures
are marked with
.
- In [ALL] mode, all pictures or motion pictures are deleted. You can
decide to keep or not to keep pictures marked favourite
.
3. Press [MENU/SET] to confirm.

Choose deletion method and confirm deleting with [MENU/SET].
Creating still pictures from movies:
1. Press
. at the frame you want a picture from.
2. Select frame-by-frame by pressing
, or press [MENU/SET] to
view the 9 frames playback screen:
- Press
to advance 3 frames.
- Press
to advance 1 frames.

3. Press the shutter button.

Press and confirm saving with [MENU/SET].

- Do not turn the camera off while deleting (while is displayed). Use a
battery with sufficient power or the AC adaptor.

- Depending on the number of pictures to be deleted, it may take some
time to delete them.
- If pictures do not conform to the DCF standard or are protected, they
will not be deleted even if [DELETE ALL] or [ALL DELETE EXCEPT
