Message displays
In some cases confirmation or error message appear on the screen. The most
important messages are as follows:
[THIS MEMORY CARD IS LOCKED]

Take a picture/insert a card with a picture.

Delete the picture after cancelling the protection setting.

Pictures that are not DCF compliant cannot be deleted. If you wish to delete
these pictures, format the card after saving the necessary data on a computer or
equivalent backup media.
