Shooting Features
Using the Flash
You can shoot images with a flash by raising the built-in flash. You can set the
flash mode to match the shooting conditions.
1 Lower the K (flash pop-up)
control to raise the flash.
When the flash is lowered, flash operation
is disabled and S is displayed.
2 Press the multi selector H (m).
3 Select the desired flash mode
(A60) and press the k button.
When the manual flash is selected, select
the flash output and press the k button.
If a setting is not applied by pressing the k
button within a few seconds, the selection
will be canceled.
B Flash Status Display
The status of the flash can be confirmed with
the flash mode icon at the top of the monitor
by pressing the shutter-release button halfway.
On: The flash fires in accordance with the
flash mode when you press the shutter-
release button all the way down. When U
(auto) is set, the flash fires when W is displayed.
Flashing: The flash is charging. The camera cannot shoot images.
Off: The flash does not fire when an image is taken.
