ReplayTV 4500
ReplayTV can search through the Channel Guide for shows so you don’t have to. Find Shows is the perfect feature for those times
when there is a show you want to record, but don’t know what time or channel it is on. You can also use it to find when your favor-
ite show will air next. You can also use Find Shows to search for a show based on a topic, interest, hobby, show title, or favorite
actor or director. Theme-based channels record a specific amount of programming (1/2 hour, 2 hours, etc.) based on keywords that
you choose.
1 Press MENU on the ReplayTV remote control.
2 Select Find Shows.
3 Enter one or more keywords.
4 Select Done.
5 Set Find Shows options.
6 Select Done.
ReplayTV will search through your channel listings for shows matching the keyword. If you use multiple keywords, only
shows appropriate to both keywords will be listed. Select Change search options if you want to change the keyword or search
criteria.
7 Select Create the “Keyword(s)” Theme Channel. You can also highlight an individual show and press REC once to record
just this show, or twice to record all episodes of the show.
8 Set Record Options. See “Setting Record Options” on page 35 for more information.
9 Select Done. Your show will be recorded at the scheduled time.
