Trouble?
Horizontal bands appear on the screen.
-This is a phenomenon typical of CMOS image sensors when
recording under some types of fluorescent, mercury or sodium
lamps. This is not a malfunction. To reduce the symptoms, change
the 1 >p> [Flicker Reduction] setting.
Sound is distorted or is recorded at lower levels.
- When recording near loud sounds (such as fireworks, shows or
concerts), sound may become distorted or it may not be recorded
at the actual levels. This is not a malfunction. Adjust the audio
recording level manually (A 230).
The picture is displayed correctly but there is no sound from the
b
uilt-
in speaker.
- Speaker volume is turned off. Adjust the volume (A 68).
-If the supplied High Speed HDMI cable or optional STV-250N Ste-
reo Video Cable is connected to the camcorder, disconnect it.
-The AV OUT/× terminal is set to headphone output. Set 1 >
q > [AV/Headphones] to [Ò AV].
There is no sound from the AV OUT/× (headphones) terminal.
- H Audio will not be output from the AV OUT/× terminal
while Wi-Fi functions are in use.
Memory Card and Accessories
Cannot insert the memory card.
- The memory card was not facing the correct direction. Turn the
memory card over and insert it.
Cannot record on the memory card.
- The memory card is full. Delete some recordings (A 73) to free
some space or replace the memory card.
