Network Connectivity Overview
The DVR can be remotely controlled using your existing network and the provided software.
1. Connect the DVR to the Router using an Ethernet Cable (not included). Power on the DVR.
NOTE: The DVR must be connected to the router prior to powering on the system. This
allows the system to communicate on your network
2. Find the IP address of your DVR through the Menu System on the unit.
3. Set up a web account at http://ddns.digimerge.net.
4. Enable PORT FORWARDING on your Router. See “Router Port Forwarding” on page 44.
5. Install the Software on your PC. See the Software Installation Guide (provided with this System)
for installation requirements and details on using the software.
