The HSR-X200/X200P can be connected to a network
via an optional network card and operated through the
network.
Operational conditions
To operate the HSR-X200/X200P via a network, use
under the following conditions.
PC: Pentium III 400 MHz, 64 MB or more
OS: Windows 95/Windows 98/Windows Me/
Windows NT 4.0 ServicePack 5 or higher/
Windows 2000
Web browser: Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher

Associated Settings on page 40(GB).
Accessing the Recorder
1 Start Internet Explorer.
2 Type the following in the Address box and press
the Enter key.
http://<
IP address for the HSR-X200/X200P
>/
The IP address for the HSR-X200/X200P is the
one that has been set with NETWORK SET of
MAIN MENU 2.
The Network Password input window opens.
Notes
If you try to access an HSR-X200/X200P on
which anther PC has logged, the message THE
UNIT IS BUSY! will be displayed.
If you try to access an HSR-X200/X200P which
does not permit connection, the message THE
UNIT IS NOT READY! will be displayed.
3 Type ID1, ID2, or ID3 in the ID box and the
corresponding password set with NETWORK SET
in the Password box.
Notes
The operations via the network are limited
depending on the password you entered.
If you accessed with the password for ID1: You
are enabled only to view the current camera
input.
If you accessed with the password for ID2: You
are enabled to view the current camera input or
playback picture and perform operations related
to playback and data storage. Recording and
menu operations are not allowed.
If you accessed with the password for ID3: You
are enabled to perform operations using all the
browser buttons.
If you accessed with ID1 or ID2 and try to perform
an operation not allowed, a warning message will
be displayed.
4 Click on OK.
When the password is verified, the SELECT
LANGUAGE display for the HSR-X200/X200P is
displayed.
5 Click on the radio button of the desired language
and click on SET.
The Web Operations display for the HSR-X200/
X200P (see the next page) appears.
