Appendix H: Connecting a PTZ Camera
Using the PTZ Menu (Local DVR)
To control the PTZ camera locally on your DVR:
1 Sel
ect the channel that the PTZ camera is connected to.
2 Pr
ess and hold the PTZ button on the front panel of the system for 6 seconds. The PTZ menu
opens.
3 Manipulate
the PTZ controls on screen.
To create a pre-set:
1 Adjus
t the camera to the desired pre-set location using the direction keys.
2 In the Pa
n&Tilt Pos drop-down menu, enter a pre-set number.
3 Cl
ick the Set ( ) button.
4 Cl
ick Save ( ) to save your settings.
To open a pre-set, enter the desired Pan&Tilt Pos number. Click the Go T
o button ( ).
PTZ button
Press & hold 6 sec.
Channel:
Select the channel the PTZ camera
connects to.
Click the + and - symbols to
adjust the camera Zoom, Focus
and Iris settings
Direction keys:
Click to pan and tilt the camera
Speed Slider:
Increase or decrease the pan and tilt speed
