Connections
w Settings for connection with
the remote cameras
Either serial connection “Serial” or IP connection “NetWork”
can be selected for the connections between the unit and
the remote cameras for camera numbers CAM1 to CAM100.
On the [SYSTEM] menu, select [CAMERA CTL], and display
[CAM1] to [CAM100].
Then select the setting for the camera numbers.
Serial: Serial connection
NetWork: IP connection
NoAsign: No setting assigned (initial setting)
q Serial connection
Select “Serial” as the setting for the target camera number.

Serial
Camera numbers CAM1 to CAM5 correspond to the TO
PAN/TILT HEAD connectors [1] to [5] on the unit’s rear
panel.
p Serial connection “Serial” cannot be selected for camera
numbers CAM6 to CAM100.
q IP connection
Select “NetWork” as the setting for the target camera
number.
2.CAM2
NetWork
On the [SYSTEM] menu, select [CAM IP ADR], and display
[IP:CAM1-100]. Then use the IP addresses corresponding to
the camera numbers for the connection.
When “NetWork” is selected as the setting, a check is
conducted to verify that the IP address of the target camera
number is not in contention with the IP addresses already
registered.
If there is contention in the IP address, the “IP Duplicate!”
message is displayed on the bottom line of the LCD panel,
and it will not be possible to set the IP address.
On the [SYSTEM] menu, select [CAM IP ADR], and display
[IP:CAM1-100], and set the IP address of the target camera
number again by changing the setting to avoid contention.
2.CAM2
Duplicate!
When “Auto IP setting” is initiated, the IP addresses will
be set automatically for those camera numbers with the
“NoAsign” connection setting.
