3.7 USER DATABASE
The Model 2120 features a flexible user database with security for up to
64 users. This enables security access to the Model 2120 serial inter-
face and administrative management of the Model 2120 over the LAN.
Each user is assigned a user name, password and privilege for access-
ing the serial interface (User), administration management features
(Admin), or both.
User Name
The user name uniquely identifies each user in the 2120 user database.
The user name may be up to 32 characters long.
Password
Each user in the 2120 user database is assigned a password for security
purposes. The password may be up to 32 characters long.
