When administering an IP telephones, the extensions you add must match your dial plan.
Instructions
IP Telephones
1. Type add station
nnnn
, where nnnn is the extension you are adding to display
the Station screen.
NOTE:
For IP Telephones 8411D, 6416D, 6416M, 6424D, and 6424M, type shift
mute 42.

2. On the Station screen, complete the following fields:
■ Type: Type in the model of the phone you are adding.
■ Port: Type x.
■ Name: Identify the phone for your records.
■ Security Code: Match the password set up on the Avaya R300
administration.
■ Remote Office Phone: Type y (yes).
3. Go to page 2 of the Station screen.
