3. Verify the new black ink cartridge is selected. Click OK.
4. Click OK in the Optional Ink Cartridge Notification dialog box.
5. Click OK in the Properties window.

1. Close any printing programs you may have open.
2. Open the Printer Setup Utility (OS X 10.3 through 10.4) or Print Center (OS X
10.2).
3. Select Stylus Photo R2400 from the list and click the Utility button.
4. Click the EPSON Status Monitor button.
5. Click the black ink cartridge and verify the new cartridge type. Then click OK.
