Macintosh only
My printer is
connected with a
USB cable through
another USB device
or a hub and my
printer and
computer have lost
communication.
Your printer may
not be getting good
data from the other
device or hub.
OR
Two-way
communication
between the printer
and the computer
was interrupted by
another device
attached to the hub.
Try the following:
Connect the printer directly to the USB
port on the computer.
Make sure the USB cable is securely
attached to both the computer and to
the USB port on the back of the printer.
Try disconnecting other USB devices
from the hub and print your document
again.
The USB cable is
too long.
Make sure you are using a USB cable
length that is supported by your printer.
