Setting Up the Infrared Remote Control
Insert two “AA” batteries into the infrared remote control to use it. The remote control
can control the DVD camcorder from a distance of up to approximately 18 feet (5 m).
Caution
• If the batteries are dead, pressing buttons on remote control will not operate the DVD camcorder:
Replace the batteries.
1. Push the tab on the back of remote con-
trol to open the battery compartment lid.
2. Insert two batteries according to the po-
larity indications in battery compart-
ment.
3. Close the battery compartment lid.
