(Gray)
When a mode other than the USB
HOST mode is established or when
the USB HOST mode is established
but the hard drive is not connected,
this status is displayed in gray.
(White)
When the USB HOST mode is
established and the hard drive that
can be used is connected, this
status is displayed in white.
(Yellow)
When the USB HOST mode is
established and the clips on the hard
drive are displayed as thumbnails,
this status is displayed in yellow.
(Red)
When the USB HOST mode is
established and the hard drive is not
in the data copy enable status, this
status is displayed in red.
3 Clip information display
Depending on what has been set on the
thumbnail display screen (Page 39), the
time code at the clip recording start point or
the user’s bit, shooting time, shooting date,
shooting date/time, USER CLIP NAME or
SLOT number is displayed.
4 Clip format
The compression format, video recording
format and frame rate of the clip where the
cursor is positioned is displayed.
5 Duration
The length of the clip where the cursor is
positioned is displayed.
6 USB HOST mode indicator
This appears when the USB HOST mode has
been selected.
7 Clip number
These are the numbers which have been set
by the unit for all the correctly recognized clips
on a P2 card. The numbers are allocated in
sequence starting from the earliest shooting
date/time. The clips which cannot be played
back are displayed in red.

Defective clip indicator

Unknown clip indicator
This indicates clips whose recording contains
problems for reasons such as the power being
cut off while they were being recorded. It may
be possible to repair clips which are indicated
by the yellow defective clip indicator. For further
details, refer to “Repairing defective clips”
(Page 41). It is not possible to repair clips which
are indicated by the red defective clip indicator
so delete them. If these clips cannot be deleted,
format the P2 card. In the case of formats
incompatible with this unit,

Incomplete clip indicator
This appears when a single clip has been
recorded onto a multiple number of P2 cards
and one of the P2 cards concerned has not
been inserted into the P2 card slot.

Shot mark indicator
This is indicated on the clips of which a shot
mark has been added to their thumbnails.

Clip-with-proxy indicator
This indicates clips for which a proxy has been
additionally recorded.

Text memo indicator
This indicates clips with text memo data.

Edit-copy clip indicator
This indicates clips which have been edit-
copied by the AJ-HPM110 or other model which
supports the edit-copy function. For details on
the edit-copy function, refer to the operating
instructions of the model which supports the
function.

Wide indicator
This indicates clips which have been recorded
using the 16:9 aspect ratio. It does not indicate
clips which were formatted by a hard drive.

Remaining battery charge display
As the remaining charge drops, the display
changes in the following sequence:

When the charge is virtually depleted, the
(or ) display changes to red.
(While the AC adapter is being used, a display
other than may appear: this is normal
and not a sign of trouble)
