Set the user’s bit
Setting user’s bit allows you to store 8-digit
information (such as the date and time) in the
hexadecimal format on the sub code area.
User’s bit is automatically saved in the memory
and retained after you turn off the power.
1 Hold down [POWER] for at least 1 second to
turn the power on.
2 Select “OFF” for the “EXT UB REGEN” item
on the setting menu “TIMECODE SETUP”.

3 Select “USER” for the “UB MODE” item on
“TIMECODE SETUP”.
4 Select “CHANGE” for the “UB PRESET”
item on “TIMECODE SETUP”, and press .
