Displays
4 Compressed recording format display
During recording or on standby, the recording
format of the setting menu is displayed.
During playback, the compressed recording
format of the clip being played back is displayed.
AVC-I 100:
AVC-Intra100 compressed recording format
AVC-I 50:
AVC-Intra50 compressed recording format
HD:
DVCPRO HD compressed recording format
50M:
DVCPRO50 compressed recording format
25M:
DVCPRO compressed recording format
DV:
DV compressed recording format
5 System frequency displays
60: 59.94 Hz
50: 50 Hz
6 INPUT LOCK
This is displayed when the following conditions
are satisfied at the same time and the output
signal is locked (synchronized) to the input signal.
When INPUT is set for the setting menu
“PLAYBACK FUNCTIONS”–“SDI IN LOCK”
(Page 99).
When the signal format is the same as the
one set on the setting menu “RECORDING
SETUP”–“SYS FORMAT”
When the proper SDI signal is input
When LOCK is displayed, the output signal is
locked (synchronized) to the SDI input signals,
but does not match the phase.
7 Squeeze recording display
This is displayed in the following conditions.
When the setting menu “SYS FORMAT” is set
to 480/60i or 576/50i and the setting menu
“WIDE SELECT” is set to “WIDE”
When squeeze-recorded (wide-recorded)
images are played back
When signals with WIDE information recorded
are input with 1394 connection
8 Date and time display
The mmm dd yyyy hh:mm:ss format (month/
day/year/hours/minutes/seconds) is used to
display the date and time.
The date and time set by the camera recorder
are displayed when the unit is connected to
the AG-HVX200 or other camera recorder
using a 1394 cable.
9 Playback frame rate display
24P, 24PA, 60P, 30P, 50P, 25P
The “Variable rate: recording rate” display
appears when native recording clips shot by a
camera recorder, such as the AG-HVX200 are
played back.
Example: 12:24P
12P (for the variable rate recording
of clips that are not native
recording clips)
The frame rate is not displayed during the
playback of 60i or 50i content.
10 Audio level meter display
During recording or on standby, input level is
displayed. During playback, audio level being
played back is displayed. The channel level
set for the “LEVEL METER” item on the setting
menu “DISPLAY SETUP” is displayed.

USB HOST display
This display appears while the USB HOST
mode is established.

Text memo, shot mark displays
These displays appear for about 3 seconds when
[USER], to which a shot mark or a text memo
has been assigned ahead of time, is pressed and
the shot mark or text memo is recorded.
MARK ON:
When a shot mark has been added
MARK OFF:
When a shot mark has been deleted
TEXT MEMO:
When a text memo has been added
INVALID:
When shot marks or text memos cannot be
added or deleted
