Time code displays
You can change what is displayed in the time code
display area. (Page 80)
1 Press [COUNTER].
Each time the button is pressed, the data
changes as follows.
TC: Time code displays
UB: User’s bit value
FR: Frame rate information
No display: No data displayed
COUNTER: Counter display (Except for
playback process)
Resetting the counter value
On the normal display screen, press [RESET]
while the counter value is displayed.
When the time code display during recording
is COUNTER, you can select whether to
display the counter value by clip, or to display
the total counter value on the setting menu
“DISPLAY SETUP” – “REC COUNTER”.
Setting the recording time code
You can select the recording time code at the “EXT
TC REGEN” item on the setting menu “TIMECODE
SETUP”. For details, refer to the setting menu
“TIMECODE SETUP”. (Page 93)
Setting the recording time code
On the setting menu “TIMECODE SETUP”, set the
following time code related items. (Page 93)

Specifying the time code (TC PRESET)
Set the time code value on “TC PRESET” so you
can record a value of your choice as the initial
setting for the time code to be used at the start of
recording.
1 Hold down [POWER] for at least 1 second to
turn the power on.
2 Select “OFF” on the “EXT TC REGEN” item
on the setting menu “TIMECODE SETUP”.

3 Select “CHANGE” for the “TC PRESET” item
on “TIMECODE SETUP”, and press .
