Item Description of settings
SDI IN LOCK This is used to select whether the P2 playback output signal is locked (synchronized)
to the SDI input signals.
INT:
It is not locked (synchronized).
INPUT:
When the SDI input signal is present, it is locked (synchronized) to the input signal.
It is not locked (synchronized) when the input signal is not present.
<Note>
When SDI is set on the setting menu “INPUT SELECT” and the same SDI input signal
as the one set on the setting menu “SYS FORMAT” is input, the output signal is
locked (synchronized) to the SDI input signal in EE/recording condition regardless of
the setting for the setting menu “SDI IN LOCK”.
SPEED MAX This is used to set the maximum speed of the variable-speed playback and rapid
forward/rapid reverse playback.
X32:
32x speed
X60:
60x speed
X100:
100x speed
SEEK POS When using the navigation buttons to jump to the next clip, this menu item controls
whether the unit will jump to the beginning of the next clip, or to the next text memo
position.
CLIP: The beginning of the clip
CLIP&TMEMO: The beginning of the clip and text memo setting point

SDI SEL This is used to set the video signal output from HD/SD-SDI OUT connector.
(When the 59.94 Hz system format is set)
AUTO:
The output is automatically switched according to the clip format during playback.
The output is automatically switched according to the setting menu “SYS FORMAT”
during situations other than playback.
1080i:
1080/59.94i
720P:
720/59.94p
480i:
480/59.94i

AUTO:
The output is automatically switched according to the clip format during playback.

SDI OUT This is used to set the SDI output.
ON: SDI signals are output.
OFF:
SDI signals are not output.
SDI EDH This is used to set whether to superimpose error detection handling (EDH) when SD-
SDI signals are output.
ON: EDH is superimposed.
OFF:
EDH is not superimposed.
