Connection with multiple cameras (Supplying the external synchronizing signals)
Supply a synchronizing signal (BB) to the G/L input connectors of each camera.
Do not switch off the camera used for supplying the external synchronizing signals.
Genlock adjustment is needed when supplying the external synchronizing signals. (page 57)

Three-value synchronizing signals of
the HD format are not supported.
When using external synchronization,
only the output signal for the selected
video output format (Format) will be
synchronized (1080i, 720p, or 480i).
When selecting an HD format
(1080i or 720p), neither the VIDEO
OUT signal (composite signal)
nor the Y/C signal output from the
AW-CA50T8 S-Video terminal will
be synchronized with the external
synchronizing signal.
To synchronize the VIDEO OUT
signal (composite signal) or
the Y/C signal output from the
AW-CA50T8 S-Video terminal with
the external synchronizing signal,
use “480i” as the video output
format (selected from the camera
menu).
