About how to hold and LCD monitor/Viewfinder
• The [LVF/LCD AUTO] (P127) is set to [ON] initially. It will switch to viewfinder display and LCD
monitor will be turned off when there is a hand or object near the eye sensor.
AF assist lamp
• Hold the camera gently with both hands, keep your arms still at
your side and stand with your feet slightly apart.
•
Be careful not to move the camera when you press the shutter button.
• Do not cover the flash or the AF assist lamp with your fingers or
other objects.
• Do not touch the front of the lens. (P170)
• When taking pictures, make sure your footing is stable and there is
no danger of colliding with another person, a ball etc.
This is convenient as it allows you to take pictures from various angles by adjusting the
LCD monitor. (P13)

• This is convenient when taking pictures of
flowers etc. that are in a low position.
