Recording
Screen display (When set to [ZOOM])
¢ This zoom slider is displayed when using an interchangeable lens that supports the power
zoom.
When an interchangeable lens supporting power zoom is in use and [ZOOM] is set, the zoom
enters the Extended Tele conversion area after reaching the T-end of the optical zoom area.
The indicated zoom magnification is an approximation.
When the Extended Tele Conversion is used, angle of view for still pictures will be different from
the angle of view for motion pictures because the zoom factor is different between them. Angle
of view for recording can be checked beforehand by matching the [Rec Area] (P59) setting to
the mode you wish to record in.
Extended Tele Conversion is not available in the following cases.
[Toy Effect] (Creative Control Mode)
When [Quality] is set to [ ], [ ] or [ ]
When [Burst Rate] is set to [SH]
When [HDR] is set to [ON]
