Taking a Still picture
• Set the drive mode to [ ] (single) by pressing 4().

Press the shutter button halfway to focus.

• Aperture value and shutter speed are displayed.
(It will flash in red if the correct exposure is not achieved,
except when set to flash.)
• When the image is correctly focused, the picture will
be taken, since the [Focus/Release Priority] (P146) is
set initially to [FOCUS].
• The focus indication is displayed as [ ] in a dark
environment, and focusing may take longer than usual.

further), and take the picture.
