Saving Custom Settings
You can save frequently used shooting modes and various shooting
settings to the (Custom) mode. When necessary, you can then
shoot images with previously saved settings by simply turning the
mode dial to . Settings that are usually forgotten when the
shooting mode is changed or when the power is turned off (such as
Continuous Shooting and Self-timer mode) are also remembered.
1 Turn the mode dial to , , , or .
When you wish to re-save partially modified settings (except shooting
mode) that were previously saved in the mode, select .
2 Set the setting contents you wish to save.

z Manual focus location
3 Select [Save Settings] from the
[ (Rec.)] menu and press the SET
button.

4 Select [OK] and press the SET button.
Mode Dial
The setting contents do not influence other shooting modes.
