Connect the unit to a 3D compatible television compatible to the frame sequential format
using a HDMI cable (optional) and play back scenes recorded in 3D to enjoy life-like and
powerful 3D full high definition images.
≥ 3D video can be enjoyed on the 3D compatible TV that is compatible with the side-by-side
format, but the picture quality of side-by-side format 3D video is different from the 3D full
high definition video.
¬ Change the mode to and touch the play mode select icon.
Then,
set [VIDEO/PICTURE] to [3D] or [PICTURE]. (l 79)

Connect this unit to the 3D compatible television using a HDMI cable

≥ Connect this unit to the 3D compatible television compatible to the frame sequential format.
(When playing back scenes on the 3D compatible television compatible to the side-by-
side format)
Connect this unit to the 3D compatible television using a HDMI cable
(optional) or an AV multi cable (supplied).
≥ When connecting with an AV multi cable, set [COMPONENT OUT] to [1080i] and connect
the component terminal plug to the component terminal on the TV. (l 90)
3 Play back scenes or pictures recorded in 3D. (l 88)
≥ For the still pictures recorded in 3D, will appear on the thumbnail display at playback.
≥ If your television does not switch to a 3D image, make the necessary settings on the TV.
(For further details, please read the operating instructions for the TV.)
≥ The recording screen for 3D Recording Mode can be displayed in 3D on a
3D-compatible TV.
≥ The side-by-side format 3D video is played back when the component terminal plug of the
AV multi cable is connected to the component terminal of the 3D compatible television and
set [COMPONENT OUT] to [1080i].

[AUTO]: The scene recorded in 3D is played back in accordance with the settings on
the TV.
[3D]: The scene recorded in 3D is played back in 3D irrespective of the settings on
the TV.
[2D]: The scene recorded in 3D is played back in 2D irrespective of the settings on
the TV.
