Types of trouble and how to correct trouble
When operating using the Memory Stick
Symptom Cause and/or Corrective Actions
The POWER switch is not set to MEMORY.
c Set it to MEMORY (p. 11).
The Memory Stick is not inserted.
c Insert the Memory Stick (p. 10).
The Memory Stick has already been recorded to its full
capacity.
c Delete unnecessary images and record again (p. 155).
The Memory Stick formatted incorrectly is inserted.
c Format the Memory Stick using your camcorder or
use another Memory Stick (p. 114, 196).
The write-protect tab on the Memory Stick is set to
LOCK.
c Release the lock (p. 113).
Your camcorder can play back the 100MSDCF folder but
cannot record any images in it.
The image is protected.
c Cancel image protection (p. 154).
The write-protect tab on the Memory Stick is set to
LOCK.
c Release the lock (p. 113).
You tried to delete more than 100 images in one session.
c You can select up to 100 images on the INDEX screen in
