Recording a picture
To cancel Super NightShot
Press SUPER NS again to make the S indicator disappear. To cancel NightShot, slide
NIGHTSHOT to OFF.
Using the NightShot Light
The picture will be clearer with the NightShot Light on. To enable the NightShot Light,
set N.S. LIGHT in to ON in the menu settings (p. 193). (The default setting is ON.)
Using Color Slow Shutter
Color Slow Shutter enables you to record color images in a dim place.
(1) Set the POWER switch to CAMERA.
(2) Slide NIGHTSHOT to OFF.
(3) Press FN and select PAGE3.
(4) Press COLOR SLW S.
The
indicator lights up on the screen.
(5) Press EXIT to return to FN.
To cancel Color Slow Shutter
Press COLOR SLW S to make the indicator disappear.
Notes
Do not use NightShot in bright places (e.g., the outdoors in the daytime). Doing so
may cause a malfunction.
If focusing is difficult during recording with NightShot, focus manually.
Do not cover the infrared rays emitter with your fingers during recording with
NightShot.
If a conversion lens (optional) is attached, it may block the infrared rays.
