Using the GPS Function
When the camera is connected to a Bluetooth
®
GPS unit in
shooting mode, the Bluetooth
®
antenna icon, GPS information and
GPS icon appear on the LCD monitor.
If the number of receivable satellites is
less than three, the GPS information
cannot be acquired. If the GPS
information cannot be acquired, the
display of the GPS icon changes. In
some cases, positioning may take time.
Retaining GPS information---------------------------------------------------------------
The latest GPS information is retained in the camera for ten minutes. This enables you
to acquire GPS information outdoors and then shoot images indoors using the GPS
information.
If the GPS datum setup is changed (GP.188), GPS information is erased within ten
minutes.
