mode (page 36).

A three-by-three grid for “rule of thirds” com-
position.
A four-by-four grid with diagonal lines run-
ning from corner to corner makes it easy to
find the center of the subject. Use for architec-
tural photography or photographing products
for display.
A two-by-two grid with the center of the frame
left clear to make it easier to view the subject.
Use if your subject is in motion.
