AAuto Return (continued)
Return Time This item sets the time to return the operation with Auto Return.
This feature cannot be configured when the [Mode] is set to AnoneB.
[Setting value:1 minute, 2minutes, 3minutes, 5minutes, 10minutes,
20minutes, 30minutes, 60minutes]

When the [Mode] item is set to AIntelligent TrackingB, the camera returns
to the home position after the specified Return Time has elapsed, and
action restarts from the detection of tracked objects. When the Intelligent
Tracking operation is in progress, PTZ may not function even when an
object is being captured. If PTZ operations do not function for a time
interval specified in AReturn TimeB, Auto Return starts automatically.
Test
Click [Execute] to test run the configured Auto Return operation.
B Auto Tracking/
Intelligent
Tracking
For configuring settings related to Auto Tracking and Intelligent Tracking.
Auto Tracking : Moves to the home position when Auto Return starts.
Shoots the object by tracking it automatically when motion
is detected at the home position. Zoom ratio is fixed at x1.
Intelligent Tracking
: Intelligent Tracking is available in two modes, namely the
Auto mode which starts automatically from Auto Return,
and the Manual mode for specifying a target on the viewer.
You can change the object to track freely by clicking the
viewer’s display area when the camera is in the ALockedB
or ALosingB mode. To exit, press the [Stop] button on the
PTZ Controller screen.
Auto mode
Detects the color information of the object for which motion is detected
at the home position, and shoots the object by tracking it with
automatic pan/tilt/zoom operations. You can switch to the Manual
mode by clicking on the viewer screen before any motion is detected.
Manual mode (A Page 113)
Select AIntelligent TrackingB under the [Function] item on the PTZ
Control screen, and press the [Start] button to switch to the AStandbyB
mode. Once you click on the viewer screen to specify a target, the
camera automatically tracks and shoots the target object while
performing automatic pan/tilt/zoom operations.

Auto tracking may be difficult under the following conditions.
When multiple moving objects are in the same screen
When there is a flickering light source in the screen
When the speed of the moving object is too fast or slow
When the moving object is too big or small
When the object and background have same brigthness
Intelligent tracking may be difficult under the following conditions.
Strong backlight
Colors that are similar to the tracking target are present in the same
screen
No colors on the tracking target (such as white, gray, black)
When the tracking target moves into the privacy mask area
