Voor de bediening
Zet DISPLAY in het instelmenu op LCD. (De
standaardinstelling is LCD).
(1)Zet de POWER schakelaar in de VCR stand.
(2)Start de weergave van de videocassette met
de gewenste opnamen of schakel het TV-
toestel in om het gewenste programma te
zien.
De beelden van de aangesloten apparatuur
worden nu ook weergegeven op het LCD
scherm of in de zoeker.
(3)Volg de aanwijzingen 3 en 4 op pagina 168.
Opnemen via het A/V-aansluitsnoer
Sluit de gele stekker van het A/V-aansluitsnoer
aan op de video-uitgang van de videorecorder of
het TV-toestel.
Als uw TV-toestel of videorecorder beschikt
over een S-video ingangsaansluiting
Voor de zuiverste beeldweergave kunt u de
apparatuur het best aansluiten met een (los
verkrijgbaar) S-video aansluitsnoer.
Bij deze wijze van aansluiten hoeft u de gele
(video) stekker van het A/V-aansluitsnoer niet
aan te sluiten. Sluit het S-video snoer (los
verkrijgbaar) aan op de S-video stekkerbussen
van uw camcorder enerzijds en uw TV-toestel of
videorecorder anderzijds.
Bij deze wijze van aansluiten verkrijgt u de beste
kwaliteit DV-formaat beelden.

Recording a still image from
other equipment
Before operation
Set DISPLAY to LCD in the menu settings.
(The default setting is LCD.)
(1)Set the POWER switch to VCR.
(2)Play back the recorded tape, or turn the TV on
to see the desired programme.
The image of the other equipment is
displayed on the LCD screen or in the
viewfinder.
(3)At the point where you want to record, follow
the steps 3 and 4 on page 168.
Using the A/V connecting cable
Connect the yellow plug of the A/V connecting
cable to the video jack on the VCR or the TV.
If your TV or VCR has an S VIDEO jack
Pictures can be reproduced more faithfully by
using an S video cable (optional).
With this connection, you do not need to connect
the yellow (video) plug of the A/V connecting
cable.
Connect an S video cable (optional) to the
S video jacks of both your camcorder and the TV
or VCR.
This connection produces higher quality DV
format pictures.
