Text Entry Procedure
Changing the entry area:
Press the <B> button to toggle
between the top and bottom entry
areas.
Moving the cursor:
Either tap [ ]/[ ] or press the
<YA>/<ZO> button to move the
cursor.
Entering text:
In the bottom area, type directly with the keyboard or turn the <5>
dial to select a character, then press <Q/0> to enter it.
Changing the entry mode:
Tap [ ] at the bottom right of the bottom entry area. Each time
you tap it, the entry mode will change as follows: Lower case a
Numerals / Symbols 1 a Numerals / Symbols 2 a Upper case.
Deleting a character:
Either tap [ ] or press the <M> button to delete one
character.
Exiting:
Tap [OK] to complete the text entry, and the screen in step 2 will
reappear.
Canceling the text entry:
Tap [Cancel] to cancel the text entry, and the screen in step 2 will
reappear.
You can also set or check the copyright information with EOS Utility
(provided software, p.340).
