Ambience Settings
Standard setting
Standard settings for the respective shooting mode. Note that <2>
has image characteristics geared for portraits and <3> is geared
for landscapes. Each ambience is a modification of the respective
shooting mode’s image settings.
Vivid
Makes the image more vivid and impressive than with [
Standard setting].
Soft
Suited for portraits, pets, flowers, etc., when you want a soft look.
Warm
For portraits, pets, etc., when you want a warm-tone ambience.
Intense
The overall brightness is slightly suppressed while the subject is
emphasized. Gives the human or living subject more presence.
Cool
The overall brightness is slightly suppressed while a cool-tone
ambience is set. Makes a subject in the shade look more silent and
impressive.
Brighter
The picture will look brighter.
Darker
The picture will look darker.
Monochrome
You can select the monochrome color to be black and white, sepia,
or blue.
