3. The camera connected to the network
is automatically detected and its MAC
address, IP address and model name
are displayed.
The factory default setting is:
IP address : 192.168.100.1
The MAC address can be found on the warranty
card or on the white label attached on the
bottom of the unit.
Note that VBSetup.exe cannot be used across
subnets.
Click the MAC address to select it, and click
the “Initial Setup” button.
4. Enter the user name “root” and the
factory default password “VB-C50i”
and enter the IP address and subnet
mask.
If you want to specify a default gateway
address, enable the “Set the default route to
Ethernet” check box and then enter the default
gateway address.
Although the time zone and video signal can
also be specified here, there is basically no
need to change the time zone setting.
Once you have entered your settings, click the
“OK” button.

Tip
The password for both the VB-C50i and the VB-C50iR is “VB-C50i”.
The MAC address for this unit is shown on the bottom of the VB-C50i/VB-C50iR
( P.1-10).
The IP address 192.168.100.1 is used as the factory default setting. Please set an
IP address that suits the environment in which the VB-C50i/VB-C50iR is to be
used.
