+ The Speakerworks only in Player mode.
+ When you use the LCD screen for playback,you will hearrecorded sound fromthe built-in Speaker.
Takethefollowing steps to lower thevolume or mute the sound while playinga tape on the Camcorder.
1. Set the Power switch to PLAYER.
2. Set the Modeswitch to TAPE.
3. Pressthe _'/11(PLAY/STILL)to playthe tape.
4. Use the Menu selectorto adjust the volume.
• Avolume level display will appear on the LCD screen.
Levels may be adjustedfrom anywhere between 00 to 19. Youwill not hear any sound when
the volume isset on 00.
• If you close the LCD screen while playing, youwill not hear soundfrom the speaker.
[ Notes ]
• When the AV cable is connected to the Camcorder, you will not hear sound from the Built-In Speaker
and cannot adjust the volume.
• The sound will return when you remove the connected AV cable from the jack of your Camcorder.
