Removing Protection

Images with DPOF settings are indicated by the [ ] icon and cannot be
unprotected. To unprotect such images, first clear the DPOF settings.
See “Clearing DPOF Settings” p.121.

From the play menu, select [PROTECT] and press the OK
button.

Use the jog dial to select the image to be unprotected and
press the OK button.
The [ ] icon (black) below the protected image
disappears.
To retain the protection, press the OK button again.
To unprotect multiple images, repeat this procedure.

Move the OK button to to select [OK] and press the OK
button.
The protection is removed and the play menu reappears.
To cancel the procedure, select [CANCEL] and press the OK button.
To Unprotect all the Images in an Album
In step 2, move the OK button to to select [CLEAR ALL] and then press the OK
button.
