Manual Focus
You can also focus the camera manually.

Manual focus allows you to fix the focus at a set location, so it can be very useful
for shots of moving subjects and for dark or strongly backlit situations where the
camera has difficulty focusing.

During video recording, the camera toggles between the currently selected focus
setting and manual focusing each time you move the OK button to . If the
current focus setting is manual focus, it switches to auto focus.
If the distance to the subject is 0.1 meters or less with the zoom set to W, the
distance shown on the screen changes to . The distance at which appears
differs depending on the zoom setting.

Use the jog dial to focus the shot.
The focus is locked. To re-focus the shot, use the jog dial.
