Sound
This option sets the sounds the camera emits while it is being used (when the camera
starts up, when keys are pressed and when a picture is taken).

From the setup menu, use the jog dial to select [SOUND]
and press the OK button.
The sound settings screen appears.

Use the jog dial to select a setting and press the OK
button.
STARTUP : Sets the tone emitted when the camera
starts up.
OPERATION: Sets the tone emitted when a button is
pressed, etc.
SHUTTER : Sets the sound emitted when the shutter
is released.

Use the jog dial to select [ON] or [OFF] and press the OK
button.
The selected option is set and the sound settings screen
reappears.
To specify another setting, repeat steps 2 and 3.
ON : A sound is emitted.
OFF : No sound is emitted.

Press the MENU button to return to the setup menu.
