The messages listed below indicating an error or status may be displayed on the screen.
Message Explanation
NO CARD There is no SD card inserted.
NO AVAILABLE
MEMORY
There is no available space on the specified drive.
NO IMAGE There are no images on the specified drive or album.
NO TARGET IMAGE. There are no images required for the operation.
WRITE-PROTECTED
CARD
You attempted to write data to a locked card.
PROTECTED IMAGE You attempted to erase, move or edit a protected image.
FILE NUMBER IS FULL The file numbers have reached “9999”.
When transferring images to the DVD recorder with DVR, you
exceeded the limit on the number of files on the DVD recorder
with DVR.
TOO MANY IMAGES The number of images has reached 32,000.
VIDEOS CANNOT BE
EDITED
You attempted to edit a videos shot on a different brand of
camera.
DPOF ERROR A DPOF-related error occurred.
LIST FILE ERROR A DVD creation list error occurred.
CANNOT USE THIS
CARD.
The card used is damaged or incompatible.
THIS CARD IS NOT
FORMATTED.
The SD card used is not formatted or is formatted using
NTFS.
GROUP NAME OR
PASSWORD NOT
INPUT.
A group name or password required for LAN connection has
not been input.
CANNOT CONNECT
TO NETWORK
The camera cannot connect to the network in LAN mode.
TARGET CONNECTION
NOT FOUND.
There is no DVD recorder with DVR on the network.
CONNECTION
CLEARED.
The connection was cancelled due to an error during LAN
connection.
TRANSFER ERROR
HAS OCCURRED.
An error occurred while data was being transferred to the
DVD recorder with DVR.
NOT APPLICABLE
FOR PictBridge.
The connected printer does not support PictBridge.
PRINTER ERROR A printer error occurred during PictBridge connection.
